Mark is a Member of Hoffman Clark LLC, an integrated certified public accounting and consulting firm specializing in accounting, financial analysis and economic evaluation. Hoffman Clark provides objective advice across a broad spectrum of business and intellectual property matters for individuals and organizations ranging from small firms to Fortune 500 corporations.

Mark specializes in accounting and economic evaluation processes involving business enterprises, product lines, intellectual property and transactions. He routinely provides consulting services concerning computations of financial damages associated with commercial disputes such as breach of contract, insurance claims and employment cases. He advises clients in cases involving patent, trademark and copyright infringement, trade secret misappropriation and licensing evaluations. He is also called upon to conduct independent investigations to help organizations respond to allegations of fraud, shareholder disputes, whistleblower complaints and employment misconduct.

He serves as an expert witness on commercial and intellectual property damages questions in federal district court, state court, bankruptcy court and arbitration settings. His testimony includes cases reviewed and affirmed by the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit regarding novel and emerging areas of biotechnology that resulted in important new precedent in the areas of patent licensing and patent damages.

Apart from his practice at Hoffman Clark, Mark has served as an Adjunct Professor on the Faculty at Washington University School of Law in St. Louis.
